Dawson County is hoping for 60 adults to complete the Stewards of Children training by the end of May. Upon those 60 completing training, Dawson County will reach its “tipping point” of adults trained. The “tipping point” is thought to be that magic moment when an idea, trend or social behavior crosses a threshold tip and spreads like wildfire. Stewards of Children Training is a two hour course focusing on improving the protective behaviors of adults thus reducing the rate of sexual assault on children. If you or your agency is interested in taking this two hour course, Family Connection will gladly set up a training at your convenience. Please contact Nancy Stites at 706-265-1981.
