This Friday, Dawson County Family Connection will hold its annual A Family Fair community event. Here’s what to know about it.
A Family Fair is scheduled to take place beginning at 6 p.m. on Aug. 16 in Main Street Park, located behind Dawsonville City Hall. The event will be open to anyone in the community and will feature free food while supplies last, free fun for the whole family and a free showing of the Pixar movie Inside Out beginning at dusk.
In addition to the food and activities, A Family Fair will also provide a chance for community members to connect with and learn about resources that are available to people in Dawson County, including local nonprofits, local churches and local organizations like the Department of Public Health and Dawson County Emergency Services.
