A Family Fair

A vision of the Mental Wellness Coalition initiated by Dawson County Family Connection, “A Family Fair” was created with the hopes of being a fun-filled day for families to CONNECT with each other, CONNECT with their community, and CONNECT with the many resource agencies who provide services to them locally.

Dawson County Family Connection is happy to present an opportunity for our fellow non-profit/social service agencies to connect with the community.

“A Family Fair” was created to be a fun-filled day for families to connect with each other, their community, and the many resource agencies that provide services to them locally.

 WHEN IS EVENT:

  • Friday, August 8, 2025 (pending City Council approval)
  • 6:00pm-11:00pm (Outdoor movie to begin at dusk/8:45pm)
  • (setup to begin at 4:00pm, breakdown to begin at 8:00pm and be completed by movie start/8:45pm)

WHERE IS EVENT: Main Street Park, 415 Hwy. 53 East, Dawsonville, GA 30534 (Behind Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (GRHOF))

WHO CAN REGISTER AS A VENDOR: Any agency that offers resources to the Dawson County community including (but not limited to): members of the Dawson County Family Connection Community Collaborative, non-profits, social services agencies, faith based organizations, public servants, mental wellness providers, children’s service providers, and/or support groups (i.e. substance abuse, parenting, bereavement, etc.).*For profit businesses: We would love to include you in this event as a SPONSOR! Call 706-265-1981 to learn more!

Each vendor will be responsible for: 

  • providing a family-friendly activity at their table/station 
  • providing their own media describing the resources they offer to hand out to fair goers (i.e. flyers, brochures, pamphlets, etc.)
  • providing their own tent/table/activity supplies (including power source if needed, as there are NO electrical outlets)
  • their own setup, breakdown, and trash removal (please use the dumpster onsite behind GRHOF)

COST OF EVENT: There will be a $35.00 non-refundable application fee (to be applied to event expenses) for each vendor.
