VOLUNTEER: Dawson County Family Connection relies on volunteers for most of our events including:
- A Family Fair
- Teen Maze
- Poverty Simulation
- Childcare: Many of our trainings and meetings are offered with FREE childcare for families. This is a HUGE need in our organization and if you or your organization would be interested in helping us to continue to provide childcare (particularly special needs childcare), PLEASE REACH OUT!
- Grant Writers: ALWAYS NEEDED!

CONTRIBUTE GOODS: Dawson County Family Connection collects different items throughout the year for the benefit of our community including:
- Stuff the Bus- School supply drive benefiting Dawson County students, held in June and July
- Bins available for you to collect at your location
- Reverse Advent Calendar-Held in December to collect goods (not necessarily presents) needed by local resource agencies for the cold weather months
- Bins available for you to collect at your location
- Little Library-Dawson County Family Connection has a Little Library located in front of the Dawson County Health Department, that we are always in need of children’s books in good condition to keep filled
- Stuff the Bus- School supply drive benefiting Dawson County students, held in June and July
